Dr. Harold Tepler, MD

Dr. Harold Tepler graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1988. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Medical Center in New York, and then went on to fellowship training in Gastroenterology at SUNY-Downstate Long Island College Hospital, which he completed in 1993.

Dr. Tepler has 25+ years of clinical experience in treating gastrointestinal and Liver diseases, and has performed thousands of endoscopic procedures. Dr. Tepler has been a physician leader in the Ambulatory Center for Endoscopy, a premier state of the art Ambulatory Surgery Center in North Bergen, where he is a past Board President and co-director of the physician staff. In addition, Dr. Tepler has been involved in the teaching and supervision of Gastroenterology Fellows at the Hackensack-Palisades Medical Center, and was recently featured on NJ Channel 12 News where he was interviewed on Colorectal Cancer and Esophageal Cancer. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterologic Association, and is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
